To All Golden Valley, Inc. Grain Producers:
An overabundance of grains, a lack of farmers selling and disappointing markets has left Kansas elevators with a very serious shortage of available storage.  Special storage considerations will be made statewide as we all struggle to bring in this coming fall harvest.  Since there is virtually no terminal storage, we are limited to shipping only the grain we own.

At this time, we plan to dump all soybeans in the elevator, with a possibility at only ONE location.

Milo will be dumped on the ground piles only with NO Moisture over 15.0 on milo.

Corn will be put in the elevator at each location and we will ship as we get ownership to make room for more in the elevator.  No Moisture over 17.0 on corn.

Since we have the STRICT moisture limits, PLEASE take a sample into the elevator to be checked before cutting as we WILL NOT TAKE GRAIN OVER THE MOISTURE LEVELS STATED ABOVE.  We realize that these Limitations only add stress to an already bad situation; but please remember that we are all under considerable stress. At GVI, we are doing the best we can to help everyone have a positive harvest over the next several months.  If at any time we are able to change these policies, we will do so!  Lets all work together and be patient to bring in this harvest safe for everyone!
